Going to Work on Monday with a Great Mood

Tip 1: Move!

According to Tony Robbins, Emotion is created by motion. In other words, emotions are linked to the movement in our bodies.
If you observe your posture when you are happy, as opposed to when you are sad, they are very different, right?
So you can change how you feel as quick as an instant by standing up straight, putting your arms up in the air, take a deep breath, put a smile on your face, or do some Power poses.
People nowadays are spending too much time keeping their heads down on their phones, which is not helpful at all to make you feel happy and powerful.

Tip 2: Indulge Yourself

Commit at least 20 minutes every day to do what you absolutely love, and what brings you energy.
It can be going to the beach, draw, dance, or playing with your dog. As much as it seems common sense, 99.9% of people are not doing it.
So make it a commitment to yourself to maintaining a high energy level every day.

Tip 3: Change Your Background Music

What do you feed your brain first thing in the morning? News, social media feeds? Are they uplighting, or full of negative energy?

You can change your mind with a change of habits – try starting your morning with playing motivating music and shake your body (as mentioned in tip 1), listen to inspiring podcasts on your commute, and keep the wonderful rhythms at the back of your mind at work.

Just like in movies – a different genre of background music can bring a dramatic change of emotions to the images!
